Flea48 Cardioid and Figure 8 Tube Microphone

The FLEA48 Vintage Microphone is a replica of the classic mic, with a F47/49 capsule (an exact replica of the K47/49 capsule), a BV8 transformer, and TELEFUNKEN EF14, UF14, or VF14 tubes. It is made of duraluminium, nickel plated, and available only in short body with matte nickel plated grille.

Its figure 8 polar pattern eliminates large room ambience, unlike an omni-directional pattern such as the FLEA47 or U47.

The full set includes the mic in wooden box, cable, shockmount, and power supply (Modern Design or a Copy of the vintage style PSU).

Its features include:
- A directional cardioid-eight pattern
- 35Hz-18kHz frequency range
- 20mV/Pa (14mV/Pa) sensitivity at 1kHz, 50/200 Ohm rated impedance, - 500/2000 Ohm rated load impedance.

It is also packed in a safety portable case and boasts SSL analogue attitude to digital recordings. The Variable Harmonic Drive circuit introduces a blendable mix of 2nd or 3rd harmonic distortion when input gain is increased.

PSU is switchable between 100V and 240V, currently set to work on 240V. Fuse has to be changed for 100V operation. EU power cord included.

US and EU parcels ship via UPS, ETA 1-7 working days from pickup day zero. That also applies to most locations worldwide.

All shipments are fully insured.

Bigger shipments requiring pallets or custom made crates ship to US, CA, JP, CN, AU and other outside of EU locations via DHL Air Freight, ETA is normally approx. 7-14 working days from pickup day zero.

Big shipments inside EU ship via different freight companies, recently mostly via ACE Logistics. Freight forwarders can use different courier companies for deliveries to final destinations.

Palletising and crating time can vary depending on the size of the shipment and packaging queue. We pack all our shipments with great care.
