Telefunken / Neumann U47 Tube Microphone #3929 M7 Capsule

The German granddaddy of all tube mics, manufactured between 1949 and 1965. It is to this day considered to be one the best vocal microphone of all times by many leading engineers. Heard on countless records, the sound of this microphone has truly shaped the music industry.

This legendary microphone has been serviced at Drefahl in September 2022.

A brand new Drefahl DN221VR PSU, new Sommer Tube Cable and VTC47 Shock Mount are included.

Capsule reskinned with close equivalent to original but better SPL handling and lower noise- made with My/Au diaphragm materials.

The microphone comes in an original case. 6-pin Tuchel to XLRm cable is included.

US and EU parcels ship via UPS, ETA 1-7 working days from pickup day zero. That also applies to most locations worldwide.

All shipments are fully insured.

Bigger shipments requiring pallets or custom made crates ship to US, CA, JP, CN, AU and other outside of EU locations via DHL Air Freight, ETA is normally approx. 7-14 working days from pickup day zero.

Big shipments inside EU ship via different freight companies, recently mostly via ACE Logistics. Freight forwarders can use different courier companies for deliveries to final destinations.

Palletising and crating time can vary depending on the size of the shipment and packaging queue. We pack all our shipments with great care.
