Blue Woodpecker Ribbon Mic #1

The Woodpecker is a phantom-powered ribbon microphone, inspired by Royer’s R122, which was the first “active” ribbon mic design.

It features a bidirectional pickup pattern, with a centered ribbon that captures sound identically from both the front and back of the microphone.

The frequency response shows an enhanced low-end, with a peak of around +6dB at 30Hz, and a noticeable boost between 5kHz and 10kHz.

Many users praise the mic's low noise floor, as its active electronics reduce the need for excessive preamp gain in most applications.

This beautiful microphone comes with a shockmount and a wooden case.

Big shipments inside EU ship via different freight companies, recently mostly via ACE Logistics. Freight forwarders can use different courier companies for deliveries to final destinations.

Palletising and crating time can vary depending on the size of the shipment and packaging queue. We pack all our shipments with great care.
